Wendy facilitates a 40-minute walk outside. The walk begins with five minutes of warm-ups and ends with five minutes of yoga stretching.
Walks can incorporate posture awareness, footstep sensitivity, interval training, and breathing exercises to maximize the benefits of the workout.
Wendy's favorite part of walking is the dynamic personal interaction that takes place. Outside the prescribed box of the workplace, people tend to talk more openly, share concerns, and engage in creative brainstorming. Through guided and purposeful activity, Wendy draws upon her business management background to help the group to clarify goals and to establish plans and ideas that can help to move the business forward.
Wendy comments, "Participants can't believe how fast the time flies and how far they have walked when they are busy talking. They find it's a good feeling."
